This Privacy Policy explains how Lipslate (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile apps, websites, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect
- Account & contact data (e.g., email, display name) when you sign in with Apple/Google.
- Transactional data from App Store / Google Play (product, term, status). We do not receive your full card details.
- Usage & device data (IP address, device/OS, app version, crash/diagnostics, timestamps, feature interactions).
- Content you upload or generate (media needed to provide dubbing/lip-sync). We process this to deliver results, then retain only what’s necessary for your account and legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, billing, troubleshooting) and delete per retention rules below.
- Support communications you send to us.
How we use data
- Provide, operate, and secure the Services.
- Process subscriptions via App Store / Google Play and handle eligibility, receipts, and refunds.
- Improve quality and performance (analytics, crash reports).
- Communicate about updates, policy changes, and service messages.
- Enforce terms, prevent abuse, comply with law.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Services), consent where required, and legal obligations.
Sharing
- Processors that help us run the Service (hosting, analytics, error reporting, content processing). They act under contracts consistent with this Policy.
- App Stores (Apple/Google) for subscription verification and refunds.
- Legal & safety when required by law or to protect rights and users.
- Business transfers in case of merger or acquisition.
International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active and as required by law.
- Subscription receipts/entitlements: per tax/accounting laws.
- Uploaded media: kept as needed to deliver the feature; you can delete projects from within the app/website; we also prune inactive content on a schedule.
- Logs/diagnostics: kept for a limited time for security and debugging.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing. Contact privacy@lipslate.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect such data; if you believe we have, contact us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is 100% secure.
Payments
All purchases are processed by Apple/Google. We receive subscription status and receipt metadata—not your full payment card details.
